This month started off on a great note. Very good friends of mine received their permanent residency for Malaysia. Their initial thinking was to opt for the Malaysia My 2nd Home program but then they decided that rather than be a perpetual “tourist” so to speak, they wanted to go that one step further and become part of Malaysia on a more permanent basis. It was also a very good reason to have a party! Congratulations Nick & Marley. Nice to see you’re part of the club. I fi nd the longer that I am here, (by the way I’ve been a permanent resident for over 20 years) I’m seeing more expats, after spending their initial time here seriously thinking about taking up either the MM2H program or, as my friends have done, gone that one step further and doing the PR program.
